About
Meet Nina Caron
The Fit Dimensions began with one belief: that the years ahead can be your strongest, most energized yet. Nina Caron is the founder, the coach, and the heart of that promise — guiding active adults to move well, eat well, and age well.
Her story
Wellness built for the long run
Nina works with clients of all ages who are interested in establishing a sustainable fitness protocol uniquely tailored to the individual. Nina believes staying strong, mobile and energized fosters self-confidence, capability and independence. This in turn creates an environment allowing for an expansion of possibilities and a well-balanced body and mind!
That focus grew out of her own training. A lifelong competitive runner, Nina learned early that performance isn't just about how hard you push — it's about how well you fuel, recover, and move between the efforts. To understand the science behind it, she earned her Master's Degree in Human Nutrition, deepening a practice that blends evidence-based nutrition with real-world coaching.
On the roads, Nina still races competitively — and always has. She qualified for the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials in the marathon with a 2:45, set American records in the 60–64 age division for the 1-hour, 15,000-meter, and 10-mile distances in 2023, and in April 2025 won the 60–65 age division at the Boston Marathon in 3:22:03. Off the course, she's the founder and race director of the Step Up for Colleen 5K, an annual run/walk she's led in Andover, MA since 2014 in memory of Colleen Ritzer — now in its 13th year, having raised more than $798,000 in scholarship funding for 147 recipients.
Based in Andover, Massachusetts, Nina has spent more than 30 years helping everyday people apply the same discipline that earns podiums to the simple, sustainable habits that keep them well for life.

Her approach
Training is one tool, not the whole story
Plenty of programs treat exercise as the answer to everything. Nina sees it differently. Movement is essential — but it's one piece of a much bigger picture. Lasting wellness comes from how movement, nutrition, and everyday lifestyle work together, especially as the body changes with age.
In practice, that means looking at the whole person. How are you sleeping and recovering? What's fueling your day? Where do you feel strong, and where do you feel stiff or stuck? From there, Nina builds a plan that fits your life — yoga and strength work for mobility and resilience, nutrition guidance grounded in her Master's Degree in Human Nutrition, and the small, sustainable habits that compound into real longevity.
Her north star is simple: help you stay strong, mobile, and energized for the long run — so the next decade feels like an opportunity, not a countdown.
